Abstract
Studying of biological activity of complexes with various composition and structure has revealed interesting facts. It has been established that the biological activity is highly dependent on the nature of the central ion and ligand, the complex spatial configuration, character of connection between ligand and the central atom and on type of free functional groups not involved in the coordination. The indication of complexes platinum and palladium with the same structure, various biological activities, proved a crucial role of the central atom.
