Abstract
Theaimofthestudywastodeterminetheroleofstateandtraitanxietyasmediatorsintherelationshipbetweencognitiverestructuringandstudyskillstrainingwithacademicachievement.Ninety-fourhighschoolstudentswererandomlyselectedasasampletoreceiveeitheraCRorSSTpsycho-educationalgrouptherapy.Themediationanalysesindicatedthatanxiety(stateandtraitanxietypost-test)couldnotbeconsideredassignificantmediatorsandthismediationwasnotapartialmediation.Furthermore,theresultsrevealedthatstateanxietyfollow-upcouldbeconsideredasasignificantmediatorandthismediationwasapartialmediation.However,traitanxietyfollow-upcouldnotbeconsideredasasignificantmediatorandthismediationwasnotapartialmediation.However,thepresentstudyfoundedevidenceofeffectsofstateanxietyasamediatoronacademicachievement.Inconclusion,CRandSSTwereeffectivetreatmentsforanxietyandacademicachievement.
