Abstract
Oxytocin is a peptide hormone, which serves important functions in body including labor management and lactation. Indiction of milk ejection and easy delivery there are many other aspects of in vivo oxytocin functions. Neurotransmission within the body is one of the important vital functions of oxytocin, which validates involvement of oxytocin in emotional, neuronal and behaviour balance of body.
