Abstract
Composites have been used extensively in applications such as pipes and pressure vessels. Therefore there is need for further studies on the physical and mechanical properties of these materials. In the present work composite laminates made of gl;ass fiber and epoxy resin are tested to find the strength of the laminate and also its mechanical properties. By using FEA (Ansys 11.0) the optimum helix angle is determined for the composite material
