Abstract
A case report of psychosis due to hypothyroidism which remitted following initiation of thyroid substitution therapy. The patient improved with thyroxine supplementation. Psychiatric manifestations of hypothyroidism often not properly diagnosed or investigated leads to delayed treatment and increased morbidity. Hence screening for thyroid gland function in individuals suffering from psychiatric disturbances is essential.
