Features of the activity of institutions of higher education in Ukraine in the 20th of the XX century

In the article on the basis of normative documents, archival materials, analysis of scientific and historical literature some processes are analyzed that took place in the system of higher education in the 20th of the XX century after the adoption of the «Code of Laws on the National Education of the Ukrainian SSR». The subject of the research is the experience of the reflection of some aspects in the system of higher education with the adoption and introduction of the «Code of Laws on the National Education of the Ukrainian SSR» in the Ukrainian Republic during the studied period. The purpose of the study is to elucidate certain aspects of the system of higher education of Ukraine when adopting the «Code of Laws ... » and putting it into effect in 1922. The paper focuses on the content of this document, details of its four books are given; the beginning of existence of institutes as institutions of higher education is analyzed; the issue of the formation of technical schools and their management is considered; financing of Higher three-year pedagogical courses is outlined.
