Clostridium Difficile Infection and IBD Patients in One Clinical Center

In this article, a retrospective analysis of the incidence of Clostridium difficile CDI infection was performed among patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)-ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn disease (CD). Factors that have a significant impact on the onset of the infection have been considered. We used an immunochromatographic quantitative method for the determination of Clostridium difficile Glutamate Dehydrogenase Toxin A, B in the stool.
