Abstract
The main aim of this research study was to establish a comparison between damage factors of trucks that most frequently transit the road section between the cities of Caucasia and Planeta Rica, which belongs to the national road network from Colombia, by considering the two directions of vehicular circulation. 26,085 heavy trucks in total were analyzed in the operation. Subsequently, results obtained for each traffic direction and vehicle type were compared with each other.
