Abstract
The TDG bamboo is a giant bamboo that suitable for use in the processing of construction products. In the processing of the wood Glue is a top priority that affects the strength of the workpiece. In the research, the standard size of processed bamboo specimens tested. By determining the factors used in the design of the test specimens as follows: 5 types of glue and three types of a bamboo strip from different parts such as bottom middle and top. The result shows that the glue type 1 with the bottom part of the strip can make resistant the average shear stress approximately 9.921 MPa even the lower shear stress average approximately 2.837 MPa which the result according to the Building Control Act 2522 can classify the TDG specimen as the hardwood
