Abstract
The basic aspects of constituency of the principle of contingency as a guarantee of existence of divine inexistence in Quentin Meillassoux's philosophy are analyzed. According to Meillassoux, a new God is able to appear on the basis of accidental circumstances, not transcendental ones. Accidental circumstances which embrace both the world of the living and the world of the dead belong to the process of necessity. The possibility to be in the field of the may-be instead of the field of being is discussed. The field of may-be is called factuality ? the possibility to be different, first of all, the God's possibility to become a Man.
