Informal and informal education of the border guards in the European Union countries

The article describes the European experience of formation and development of a lifelong education system for the border guards, namely the implementation of non-formal and informal education and considering possibilities of creative use of the innovative ideas in the sphere of the State Border of Ukraine protection. The introduction of a lifelong education is now a necessary response to the constant change in legislation, the need to adjust the professional activity of border guards, adapt it to new realities of border guarding and the conditions of operational and service activity. The author analyzed the possibility of using this experience in order to implement it in the system of professional training of the personnel of the border guard agency of Ukraine.
