Abstract
The article is devoted to the urgent problem of intercultural education of preschool children. Future educators should have higher requirements for mastering professionally significant qualities. The consequence of this is the need to pay special attention to the multicultural components of education in the higher education sys- tem. The main difficulty in forming the teacher's professional competence is that it is a multi-level process that includes value self-determination in relation to pedagogical activity, competence in the field of the taught sub- ject, methodological and psychological readiness to work in various pedagogical systems. The article defines the principles underlying the content of intercultural education of preschool children
