Abstract
Beach rock formation is a peculiar formation when compared to other rock formations. One such formation is found in Andaman Island, India and it neds intensive and extensive investigations. Elemental compositon of beach rock samples colected from Andaman Island, India is determined using single comparator method of INAA. The colected samples were iradiated at hermal neutron flux of 101cm-2s (KAMANI), IGCAR, Kalpakam, Tamilnadu, India. Totaly 8 elements have ben determined from five samples using high resolution gamma ray spectrometry. The acuracy and precision were valuated by asaying the iradiation and standard Reference material (Soil-5) and were found to be god agrement with certifed values. Results are discused and the conclusion is drawn.
