Abstract
Thyroglossal Cyst Carcinoma is a rare disease. The diagnosis can be made with history, clinical examination and a high clinical suspicion. FNAC and radiological studies with ultrasound and computerised tomography can help in diagnosis and the preoperative assessment of the extent of the disease. This is essential in order to decide on the appropriate management plan for the patient. We present a case of thyroglossal cyst carcinoma with lymph node metastasis who underwent Sistrunk's procedure with total thyroidectomy, central compartment neck dissection and left modified radical neck dissection III. We also highlight the diagnostic modalities and the surgical intervention that can be offered for these patients.
