THE STUDY OF MENTAL AND SOCIAL HEALTH OF STUDENTS OF STOMATOLOGICAL FACULTY OF STATE UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE AND PHARMACY “NICOLAE TESTEMIŢANU”

Nowadays, the special attention is paid to psychosocial stress, connected with social life and which should be considered in the context of individual way of life. Psychosocial stressors can be traced in the context of University-level of studies, particularly in inter-group relations, professional and social status. In 2012, we comprehensively examined the mental health of students in the framework of the educational process at the Department of Economy, Management and Psycho-pedagogy in Medicine.124 students of the 2nd course of the faculty of Dentistry of the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy Nicolae Testemitanu were involved in the study. The aim of our work is maximum assistance to mental health and personal development of future dentists and formation of psychological readiness for self-determination in life and coping behavior.
