Abstract
Orodispersible tablets of ondansetron hydrochloride are prepared by direct compression method. The formulation F4 containing 10% of superdisintegrant (i.e) Croscarmellose sodium has shown best release with 99.46% at the end of 30 min. The effervescent mixture further assists in taste masking of Ondansetron hydrochloride. According to IR studies there is no incompatibility shown in formulation. The formulation was stable at 40°C±2ºC and 75%RH±5%RH.
