Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of behavior of shallow thin-walled conical shells under action of wind load in case of non-homogeneous stress-strain state (SSS). The necessity of investigation of wind load influence on the shallow conical shell behavior is due to the lack of detailed information in regulatory documents of Ukraine. The distribution pattern and direction sign of normal pressure action corresponds to the trigonometric dependency that is hybrid model of pattern of wind influence on cylinder and gable roof. The behavior of shell has been modelled using software ANSYS 14.5 either during linear static stability calculation (buckling) or geometrically non-linear calculation of deformation of shell.
