Abstract
Purtscher retinopathy is a traumatic angiopathy causing sudden blurring of vision without direct eye injury. A 14 year-old boy who presented with sudden decrease in vision in the left eye following chest injury. Fundus findings include multiple cotton wool spots and retinal edema. Although purtscher retinopathy is rare but sometimes present as a vision threatening condition.
