Abstract
A large amount of information, its availability, and often specialized forms of presentation require from a person both in private life and in business new approaches to decision-making process. Such new approaches (although not innovative in nature) include the development of critical thinking skills. A non-critical approach is justified by a number of reasons — it's psychologically convenient not to think about it, there are fewer risks, and often the educational process is set up for typical thinking (a correctly solved problem is a task where only the method that was given in the lesson is applied). Therefore, the skill of critical thinking must be a conscious choice of a person.
