Abstract
The role of data analytics in transforming data and information to a solid decision in the field of agriculture has always been important. In recent times, the principles of data analytics have been widely used in different sectors for systematic decision making and people are increasingly aware of the significance of the value of data analytics. Hence, we can say that there are hardly any fields that data analytics cannot be involved in. In the same way, machine learning is also useful in various sectors like the agriculture sector, education sector and various business sectors. It is vital to note that the main issue lies in converting the data from unstructured to structured one even before applying the machine learning algorithms. In case the farmers are provided with the support of systematic decision-making options through the use of data analytics, it would contribute to the economic profits significantly. Hence, the researchers in this field have made an effort to propose a platform of data analytics serving the needs of the stakes in agricultural sector keeping in mind the 'intelligent agricultural decision system'. The results of this study would make further advancements in the agricultural sector.
