Abstract
The category of justice from the standpoint of philosophy and law is viewed in the article. The various viewpoints of philosophers and jurists on the notion of justice from antiquity to the present day are analyzed. The notions of laws and justice are determined to have some difference in case of injustice of laws themselves. Examples of criminal proceedings on the problems of justice definition connected with a number of officials are given. In general, the author comes to the conclusion that the problem of justice cannot be solved in the modern law.
