A BIBLIOGRAPHIC STUDY ON ONOMATOPEIC WORDS

The purpose of this study is to present a bibliography of studies on onomatopeic words and onomatopeic verbs that is derived from onomatopeic roots. To help the researchers who study onomatopeic words, the study will consist of monographies, books, and articles on onomatopeic words. The introduction of the study will inform about onomatopeic words in genereal. Then, studies on the subject will be listed in three main titles as “Studies in Turkey”, “Studies in contemporary Turkic dialects but Turkish”, “Studies on onomatopeic words in other languages”.
