SOCIALIZATION MECHANISMS OF CHILDREN’S EMOTIONS UNDERSTANDING IN THE FAMILY

An analytical review of foreign psychological researches on the issue of parental socialization of pre- schoolers' emotions understanding is presented. In connection with actuality and insufficient study of this prob- lem in the native child psychology and family psychology, at this article the author is trying to reveal the paren- tal contributions to development of preschoolers' emotion recognition skills and emotion knowledge skills. The model of the socialization of emotion and basic socialization mechanisms of preschoolers' emotion understand- ing, such as parental expressiveness, parental reactions to children's emotions, and parental coaching about emo- tions, including parent-child conversations about emotions, are discussed
