STUDY OF STUDENTS’ SITUATIONAL AND PERSONAL ANXIETY LEVELS THROUGHOUT UNIVERSITY ADAPTATION PROCESS

Abstract
The author has studied medical students' situational and personal anxiety levels throughout university adaptation process. Statistically significant differences were revealed in the indicators of students' situational anxiety during process of adaptation, that allows to consider the anxiety situational level as a subjective adapta- tion process criteria. It is found that the adaptation process affects mostly a fifth of first-year medical university students. High personal anxiety students experience the greatest difficulties in university adaptation process. The end of adaptation process (according to six-year students' results) means for examinees psychological comfort, resulting to normal level of situational anxiety
