The article describes the features of teaching younger students to solve composite textual problems on price, quantity and cost. The analysis of the works of Russian and foreign scientists and psychologists who dealt with the problem of teaching younger students to solving mathematical problems was carried out. Describes the main problems that younger students face in solving complex problems of price, quantity and cost. An algorithm for solving composite text problems on price, quantity and cost is disclosed.
