Abstract
It is shown that one of the most effective methods of protecting the surface of metal pipelines from the damaging effects of aggressive media is anticorrosive polymer coatings. Composite protective coatings consist of the main components: a thin-layer adhesive film of a polyepoxy primer and an outer macromolecular polyurethane layer 2-4 mm thick. It has been established that polymer anti-corrosion coatings have the following characteristics: guaranteed temperature range from minus 40ºС to plus 50ºС, resistance to mechanical deformations; coating adhesion of at least 10–15 MPa, etc.
