Abstract

The transformations taking place in an organizations today due to uncertain forces from the environment have made organizations realized the importance of changes in structure. Earlier tall structure was very common to be implemented which is now shifted to more of flattened structure. More flexible systems are devised by management which supports creativeness and high rate of interactive culture in an organization. To be competitive it is needed that employees having learning attitude so that they can respond well to internal and external changes of the organization. Thus the need of effective leader for such scenario in organization is very essential and of high importance. Plethora of research on leadership indicates the importance of leadership effectiveness for any business organization. The importance of leadership effectiveness has been realized by the organizations and they are very cautious about decisions related to leader of the organization. Similarly ‘EmotionalIntelligence' is found to be one of the most essential factors impacting the effectiveness of leader. Research studies indicate that leaders who are highly emotional intelligent are more important and produce better results as they can deal appropriate with any situations
