The article analyzes the administrative and legal status of a serviceman. The legal foundations of the administrative-legal status of a serviceman, the legal basis of the contractual military service procedures are examined. The object of the study is public relations, emerging in the process of consolidation and implementation of the status of a military man in the Russian Federation. The aim of the work is to analyze the administrative-legal status of a serviceman of the Russian Federation during the period of service under the contract.
