The importance of utilizing authentic materials in teaching reading

This article deals with the importance of utilizing authentic materials in teaching reading.We investigated the usage of authentic materials in stimulating and developing assisted students’ reading skills. In order to achieve this goal it was defined that authentic materials should be used in accordance with students’ level of knowledge and student should be helped by their teachers to overcome the difficulties.
