Abstract
At this article contains a review of scientific works related to the institutional development of second- ary vocational education in modern Russian society, as well as devoted to the formation of small business in the institutional aspect. The author considers the concept of institutionalization of small business in the Russian sys- tem of secondary vocational education. The dual nature of the process of institutionalization of entrepreneurship in secondary vocational education is shown: as a social mechanism of formation of professional competences of graduates, and as a process of modernization of vocational education in the context of changing socio- professional structure of Russian society. The study conducted by the author revealed that the formation of a socio-professional group of entrepreneurs in the system of secondary vocational education contributes to the social reproduction of the middle class in the framework of regional society
