A study of trends in the development of football in russia

In modern conditions, the importance of football in the world is difficult to overestimate; it is a complex and multifaceted social phenomenon. It is one of the independent social subsystems, which has its own values, functions and patterns of development. Football is closely linked to all aspects of people's social life: politics, ideology, economy, culture, education. In our opinion, the implementation of the program "development of football in the Russian Federation for 2013-2020", developed in accordance with the main provisions of the Strategy for the development of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020, is a rational solution to the problem of football development in long-term planning.
