BORDER VILLAGE: A WELFARE WELFARE REGION OUTSIDE IN INDONESIA

Abstract
This study aims to obtain models and empirical explanations regarding village development in the border regions of Indonesia with Papua New Guinea. The object of research is villages that border directly with the country of Papua New Guinea. Five villages are comprising the villages of East Koya, Skow Sae, Skow Mambo, Skow Yambe, and Moso. The respondents surveyed were 54 people consisting of government officials, community leaders, religious leaders, and youth. The results of the study explained that the importance of health and information became the main dimension of development. Furthermore, the social dimensions of security and economic accessibility become antecedents of the health dimension of information
