BIODIVERSITY IN BUILT ENVIRONMENT

Biodiversity is a part of nature that helps in creating a better environment Whenever planning is done these things are being neglected which creates a havoc. Conservation of biodiversity plays a major role in planning. According to UN Secretary General” conservation of biodiversity makes a critical contribution to moderating the scale of climate change and reducing its negative impact by making ecosystems (including human societies) more resilient”(UN,2018). The aim of this research is to discuss the different ways of managing biodiversity in built environment through design. The effects of planning without taking the biodiversity into consideration will be discussed
