A Study of the Empowerment of Adolescent’s Girls Studying in Government and Private Senior Secondary School

The present study was conducted to“A Study of the Empowerment of Adolescents Girls Studying in Government and Private Schools”. The data pertaining to this study were collected on 50 Government school and 50 Private school Girls of different parts of Haryana by using “Adolescent girls' empowerment scale, developed by Dr. Devendra Singh Sisodia & Dr. Alpana Singh” and the response in YES/NO form were converted numerically following the scoring keys. The collected data were analyzed statistically through Mean, Standard Deviation (S.D) & Correlation, T-test and the level of significant was observed at 0.05 level of confidence. That mean score of private school adolescent girls168.20 is less than the mean score of government adolescent girl 165.76 the calculated t value.447 as the present t- value is less than table value. Hence the calculated t- value is greater than the calculated value and that mean score of adolescent girl rural area 168.2 is less than the mean score of adolescent girl urban area 165.76 the calculated t value.0.508 as the present t- value is less than table value. Hence the calculated t-value is greater than the calculated value.
