Abstract
Insulin is the hormone indispensable for the body's energy and metabolic processes. In type I of diabetes, when insulin is no longer secreted by the pancreas, an external supply of insulin must be provided to the body, which will lead to a balance of blood glucose levels. In this paper, aspart insulin was taken in order to study the influence of storage conditions on its stability. Changes in insulin activity were observed by spectrophotometric measurements.
