Abstract
During August 2019 captured images from Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) on NASA's Aqua satellite confirmed Amazon rainforest burning at a record rate, which have never been documented in the past. The images and collected data revealed a devastating situation for world environment and biodiversity, which needs to be addressed. Therefore, the editorial board of the Journal of Agricultural Meteorology recommended conveying the editor-in-chief preface of the current issue to this world-concerning event. Due to some facts and comments, especially, without concerning its harmful consequences on climate, these burnings outspread has the supports of related governments. Based on the published data, so far this year, number of fire events increased by 83 percent, while deforestation surged to 39 percent, relative to the previous year events. The fact is this, no matter what the cause and stimulate of these fires could be, their destructive effects on climate would not be limited only to a bordered land, such as Amazon River catchment. For sure this unwelcoming event influences the whole world climate; that is to say it is a global rather than a land event. To makes it short, it is necessary to make some conclusions and recommendations. Therefore, recommendation is that instead of waiting till our children to witness the collapse of rainforests, let capture the essence of scientific research to make use of modelling to simulate climate change process under degraded rainforest conditions, and also to simulate regular forest acreage decline within the framework of various land use variable parameters. With a multi-dimensional outlook by integrating physical/mathematical procedures in these models we could precisely recognize and formulate these factors interactions and their feedbacks, and finally to have an approximate response of “fire breathing trick within the earth environments” in near future.
