On the problem of tibetan medicine development in pre-revolutionary Russia

This article is devoted to the development of Tibetan medicine in pre-revolutionary Russia. The factors that influenced the spread and popularization of the traditional system of healing of Tibet in our country are determined. The relationship between the spread of Buddhism and the widespread use of Tibetan medicine methods in Russia is indicated. The role of famous scientists and doctors — devotees of Tibetan medicine is revealed, and their contribution to the development of Tibetan medicine in Russia is described.
