Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine the effects of project-based learning approach to the 7th grade students' attitudes in Science Lessons. For this research, it was worked for four weeks on 22 7th grade students in a Secondary School in Kulu Sub-province of Konya Province in 2016-2017 academic year. By grouping randomly, the students are requested to make logical problem sentences and according to these problems, they are requested to find suitable sub-problems, hypotheses and solutions. The students try to find correct solutions for their problems and they perform their presentations by preparing proper drafts. In this study, “Project-Based Learning Questionnaire Application”, “Peer Assessment Forms” and “Project Assessment Forms” are used as data collection tools. According to data obtained following the research, it is detected that project-based learning approach application develop students' aspects like critical thinking, scientific thinking, researching and obtaining more information and it is seen that the students adopt positive attitudes towards the lessons which conduct projects.
