Abstract
In this study, it is aimed to develop a measurement tool that can be used to determine teachers' attitudes towards the effect of creative drama method. Prepared 5-point Likert-type expressions were applied to317 teachers for exploratory factor analysis and 207 teachers for confirmatory factor analysis and the obtained data were analyzed. With factor analysis, a scale consisting of 28 sub-factors and two items named as “Attitude Regarding the Effect of Creative Drama Method on Learning / Teaching Process and Teacher” and “Attitude Regarding the Effect of Creative Drama Method on Students” was developed. It was found that 28 of the 40 items included in the trial application could be included in the final scale, the correlation values of the items varied between .45 and .77 and were significant at 0.05 level. The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient value .94 of the scale was found to have a very high internal consistency. It is considered that the “Attitude Scale for the Effect of Creative Drama Method” which provides these conditions is a valid and reliable scale that can be used to measure teachers' attitudes towards the effect of creative drama method.
