Abstract
Advantages and disadvantages of the known complex criteria of the optimization were considered. The order of shaping of the complex specific and variation optimization criterion is described. The functional behaviour of the complex criterion and its basic components by the optimization of the typical functions are analysed. The concept of the desired area of arguments is introduced.
