Abstract
Using check up test on productivity of hay and other economic and valuable signs of alfalfa the qual- ity of new cultivars in the conditions of the southeast of Kazakhstan is revealed. The mid-season variety of LS-714 was high-yielding which has exceeded the standard in Syn-1 by 43.6%, Syn-2 by 42.2%, Syn-3-42.3%, and on the average on generations and years of accounting ? 41,3%. Early ripening variety showed the highest immunity to diseases. Therefore, it is necessary to use them as sources of horizontal stability to fungal diseases, and also for selection of early and ultraearly ripening varieties. 5-6 mowed ultraearly varieties are more suitable for cultivation in the pasturable purposes and receiving prevernal green feed.
