Abstract
The results of the conducted experimental observations in the territory of the forest ranges of the Right-bank Forest-steppe of Ukraine are described in the article. Quantitative and quality indicators of weight of forest cover, its capacity and fractional composition depending on forest conditions of ranges are considered. The conclusion is drawn on positive influence of a single-seed hawthorn on the rate of decomposition of ordinary oak cover.
