Abstract
One of the most important scholars of 17th century, Davud-i Karsî wrote many treatises on different subjects. The book titled el-Îsâgucî el-Cedid ve'd-Durri'l-Ferîd is one of the remarkable works of him. In this treatise, Karsî used Ebheri's methodology on Isagogie. But, while Ebheri discusses the basic issues of logic and uses quite short and abstract terms in his book titled Isagogie, Karsî elucidates the issues of logic in detail and generally support them with examples. Accordingly, Karsî's İsagucî-i Cedid can be accepted as one of the basic textbook of logic which can always be referred, but rather as a short logic text.
