Extra linguistic features of the French-English translation of socio-political texts

This article is devoted to the study of extra linguistic features of socio — political texts. The article outlines the basic concepts of translation and their practical application in the process of translation from French into English of this type of text. The concept of socio-political translation is given, as well as certain aspects necessary for the quality fulfillment of the tasks facing the translator are outlined.
