Abstract
The objective of the research is to know Pros and cons of domestic customer from the perspectives of hoteliers. The first stage includes developing a manager’s questionnaire for a sample of eighteen resort hotels in Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh. The second stage includes interviewing ten experts in the tourism field. The results indicated that the majority of hotel managers encourage domestic tourism. On the other hand, hotel managers prefer to serve foreigners than Egyptian customers due to that the behavior and attitude of Egyptian customers are not acceptable. The research presented relevant recommendations the most important of which is the need to activate an intensive advertising campaign by the Ministry of Tourism for enhancing Egyptian customers' behavior concerning how to deal with the hotel facilities and to maintain them.
