Abstract
The article examines the correlation of peripheral blood oxygen saturation with the duration of inpatient therapy for respiratory diseases that are complicated by different types of respiratory failure in childhood. Features of dynamics of saturation in cases of uncomplicated course of non-hospital pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, and obstructive bronchitis are described. The article will be useful in compiling a prognosis of these pathologies and selecting the appropriate therapy.
