Abstract
Recent advances in laser technology have enabled the full control of few-cycle optical fields, which have key applications including the production of isolated, attosecond (1as=10 -18s) extreme ultraviolet (XUV) pulses via high-harmonic generation (HHG) [i] and the study of nanosystems in the ultrafast regime[ii,iii].
