Abstract

This paper examines theoretical approaches to the study of the problem of interpersonal communication of the teacher with students in the introduction of distance technologies in the educational process of higher education institutions. The results of the theoretical study prove that in the conditions of traditional training students actively communicate, exchange information, make emotional connections. An asynchronous type of communication in educational networks and environments often leads to frustration caused by feelings of loneliness and unmet need for communication. The problem of interpersonal communication of the teacher with the students in the introduction of distance technologies in the educational process of higher education institutions can be solved to some extent due to the combination of traditional with the elements of distance learning. The use of synchronous type of communication in educational networks and environments will help to solve this problem. This type of communication allows the communication conditions to be as close as possible to the natural environment, which enables teamwork, assistance to one another and more. This type of communication must be combined with asynchronous, which has the advantages of giving time and the ability to obtain and process information. The results of the empirical study make it possible to argue that most full-time students favor a model that essentially combines distance and traditional learning.
