Abstract
It is a comparative study on a 100/22 kV, 50 MVA substation to determine performance analysis by results obtained by Actual monitoring compared with results obtained from Modelling and simulation of substation in MATLAB Simulink software. Various performance parameters are kept in consideration. It came to the notice that installed capacity of the substation is on lower side to serve ever increasing energy demands. Mathematical calculations of incoming power as well as outgoing power, plays crucial role in energy audit process when accompanied by mathematical modeling in MATLAB Simulink software. Verification of incoming power along with outgoing power can be done by using actual in house readings and by results obtained by simulation. .. In this paper results obtained by Modeling & simulation of 100/22 kV substation are compared with data obtained by actual monitoring.
