Abstract
The present study deals with structural behavior of G+8 Residential building with and without shear wall in various zones. Shear wall is located at the edges of the building. Modelling and Analysis of RCC framed building is done by STAAD.pro. This study includes caluclating the Maximum displacement, combination stresses and Base shear and then compared for all the analysed cases. In this study we considered zone-III, zone-IV, zone –V. Medium soil is considered.
